Zara Taylor and Vincent Taleb are gearing up for another collaboration! According to The Cinemaholic, Hulu has reportedly renewed the action thriller series Paris Has Fallen for a second season.

Filming for the new installment is scheduled to take place in Wales and Paris, France, starting in March 2025. Howard Overman will continue as the show’s writer, while Oded Ruskin and Hans Herbots are confirmed to reprise their roles as directors.

The first season focused on Taylor and Taleb’s efforts to unravel a series of terrorist attacks in the French capital, orchestrated by Jacob Pearce, a former member of the French Foreign Legion. Motivated by a desire for vengeance, Pearce targets Juliette Levesque, the French President, whose actions led to the deaths of his girlfriend and her children.

As the season comes to play, several dark secrets are uncovered, and a shocking conspiracy comes to light, at the end leading Pearce to confront Levesque and demand that she confess to her crimes before being killed.

Though he dies believing she will face justice, she later claims her confession was a lie, aimed at stopping him from detonating a bomb, which earns her the title of savior.

The season concludes with Taleb resigning from his position upon realizing the twisted nature of the justice system he has served. Meanwhile, Taylor believes her role is vital for national security, even at the cost of her relationship with Thea.

While it remains unconfirmed whether the sophomore season will reunite Vincent Taleb with Zara Taylor for another high-stakes mission, the show is expected to continue focusing on these compelling protagonists. Consequently, Ritu Arya and Tewfik Jallab are likely to reprise their roles as Zara and Vincent, respectively.

The first season revealed that Pearce’s operations were financially backed by DCX Capital, which exploited the chaos generated by his actions for profit.

The company even dispatched Freja (Ana Ularu) to safeguard their investment, with orders to eliminate Pearce if necessary. With Pearce (Sean Harris) now deceased, viewers will have to wait to see if Freja and DCX Capital will remain part of the storyline moving forward.
