Once ACP Bhavani Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) steps in to carry out investigations, it becomes obvious that Leo has a shady side. He used to blackmail different members of the Delhi Turf Club by threatening to expose their secrets if they refused to give him money.

So, plenty of people had reasons to want him dead. But the pressing question is – who committed the crime?

Murder Mubarak Ending Explained

This film doesn’t just end with Leo’s death; two other characters also lose their lives — one before Leo and one after. Eventually, it is revealed that Bambi Todi, played by Sara Ali Khan, is behind all three deaths. She was responsible for killing Leo, Guppie (Brijendra Kala), and her husband Anshul (Varun Mitra).

Murder Mubarak Ending Explained: Why did Bambi Kill Leo, Guppie, and Anshul?

We need to trace things back to the start. Bambi was someone who became completely consumed by obsession. At first, her obsession was focused on the elite lifestyle attached to the Delhi Turf Club. That drove her to marry Anshul, a rich man, even though she had genuine feelings for Kashi (Vijay Varma).

Things took a dark turn when Bambi discovered that Anshul was secretly seeing their maid, Ganga (Tara Alisha Berry). Unable to bear the idea that her husband would choose someone like Ganga over her, Bambi decided to end his life.

She later got Guppie involved in helping her conceal Anshul’s body. The two of them buried him in the garden of the club, right where Guppie had been cultivating beetroot.

When ACP Bhavani and his assistant eventually dig up the corpse, those present are horrified to realize they had been eating beets grown in that contaminated soil. Later on, Guppie shares the whole story with Leo, which gives Leo something to hold over Bambi.

Bambi didn’t only end Leo’s life, she also took out Guppie and the pet cat, Prince Harry. She became extremely paranoid about the chance that Guppie might confess everything to the police. To cover her tracks, she staged Guppie’s death to look like suicide.

Towards the conclusion of the movie, ACP Bhavani traps Bambi by accusing Kashi of the murders. He knew how obsessed Bambi had been with Kashi and used that to push her into a confession. Once Kashi got arrested, she started admitting to everything — how and why she killed Anshul, Leo, and Guppie.

On top of that, she tried to frame her childhood friend Yash (Suhail Nayyar) by overdosing him with drugs so it would look like he was the murderer. Yash ends up slipping into a coma, but no additional person dies by the close of the story.
