Three women, one shocking secret, and a dangerous game

Crew Ending Explained: A Thrilling Ride of Gold Smuggling and Revenge

From unpaid salaries to gold smuggling, the stakes rise.

The movie begins with a struggling airline called Kohinoor Airlines. Employees, including Kriti Sanon, Tabu, and Kareena Kapoor, are frustrated due to unpaid salaries. But everything takes an unexpected turn when they discover a shocking secret—gold smuggling operations hidden within the company.

As the plot develops, these three women get involved in the illegal gold trade to improve their dire situations. However, their actions raise suspicions among their colleagues, and things take a dramatic turn when they get caught. Meanwhile, the airline’s owner, Vijay Walia, flees, leaving behind chaos and a mess for everyone.

A struggling airline hides more than just financial troubles

The ending of The Crew offers a thought-provoking conclusion that ties together the story’s completed turn and character arcs. As the show progresses, the dynamics within the crew evolve, leading to key revelations that shape the final moments.

The ending brings closure to lingering questions while leaving room for interpretation and discussion. The characters’ fates are sealed through difficult decisions and unexpected twists, challenging viewers’ expectations.

By the time the credits roll, the emotional stakes and moral dilemmas faced by the crew provide a lasting impact. This conclusion is a mix of resolution and ambiguity, inviting viewers to reflect on the consequences of the crew’s journey.

The Quest for Revenge: A Heist in the Making

The three women—Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu—then set off on a mission to get revenge on their boss, Vijay Walia, or his associate, Mital. Their goal? A heist to steal gold from Walia, who is attending his daughter’s wedding in a Middle Eastern country, like Arab Burj.

The plan involves the three women posing as staff members at Walia’s daughter’s wedding. Unfortunately, they are unable to find any gold, and the whole plan fails. However, things take an interesting twist when Jasmine, Kareena Kapoor’s character, steals an iPad from her boss’s room.

Jasmine, who has a kleptomania condition, uncovers some vital information from Walia’s iPad. She learns that Walia is planning to travel to an island with gold, accompanied by his daughter and son-in-law, aboard a private jet.

The Scheme to Trap Vijay Walia: A Dream Fulfilled

With this new information, the crew members—including Jasmine, Geeta, and Divya—craft a trap to catch Vijay Walia. In the process, Divya (played by Kriti Sanon) gets the opportunity to fulfill her dream of flying a plane.

Things take an intense turn when the entire crew is fed and made unconscious, except for Walia’s daughter, who starts throwing tantrums and making unreasonable demands. The crew members become frustrated as they try to appease her.

What happens when desperation meets opportunity

Once everyone falls unconscious, the crew checks Walia’s bags and discovers the gold hidden inside. However, just as they are about to leave with the gold, Walia’s daughter wakes up, catches them in the act, and starts waking everyone up.

But since the entire crew had been drugged with pills mixed in their food, no one else woke up. In a final move, the crew locks Walia’s daughter in a storage locker. When the plane starts its descent, Divya, who knows how to fly but not land the plane, gets nervous.

With Geeta’s encouragement, she reads a book on how to land a plane. With trembling hands, Divya spots the runway and manages to land the plane after a series of tense moments. But what happens next is shocking—she discovers that the runway is actually located in her childhood village, a place where no plane had ever landed before.

The Final Twist: Vijay Walia’s Arrest

Divya calls Jaiveer, played by Diljit Dosanjh, and explains the entire plan to him. Jaiveer quickly gets Vijay Walia and his family arrested. With the family behind bars, the three women—Jasmine, Geeta, and Divya—receive their share of the gold.

Meanwhile, Divya and Jaiveer’s budding romance marks the final moments of the film. In my opinion, Crew is an entertainer that doesn’t require much logical thinking, making it perfect for a lighthearted watch. I went to see the film with my mother, and we both had a great time enjoying the movie together.

For me, it was worth watching.
