Honeymoonish follows the traditional rom-com path, as the Netflix film introduces us to Kuwait’s version of the enemies-to-lovers storyline. The film’s plot begins with the motives behind the marriage of two newlyweds.
Like any classic rom-com, it concludes with the couple finally realizing they are a true match after all their deception. Hamad urgently needed to marry to satisfy his father’s demands, or else he would lose his inheritance. On the other hand, Noor sought a husband to provoke jealousy in her ex, Youssef.

Following the wedding, the couple heads off for their honeymoon, where they begin to form genuine feelings for each other. However, relationships that are built on lies are not without their challenges, and the film wraps up with Hamad and Noor overcoming the obstacles in their marriage.
Are Hamad and Noor Milk Siblings?
Their day spent with Youssef and Aisha on a yacht takes a turn when Noor accidentally falls into the water. While Youssef laughs at her mishap, Hamad recalls that she cannot swim and dives in to save her.
This act of kindness becomes the catalyst for Noor to finally release her fixation on Youssef and give her full attention to her new marriage.
Later that evening, Hamad surprises Noor by taking her to a carnival party she had been eager to attend. At the party, Hamad also receives some good news from his auntie—she has confirmed that he and Noor are not milk siblings.
This revelation seems to give the couple a chance to enjoy the rest of their honeymoon and truly explore their relationship.
The Truth Comes Out
The couple, feeling celebratory, spend the rest of the night drinking, dancing, and even taking a dip in the pool. The following day, Hamad is overwhelmed with happiness about Noor being his wife. While Noor doesn’t fully grasp the source of his joy, she’s pleased to see her husband in high spirits.
However, not everything is as smooth as it appears. Hamad is considering confessing the real reason behind his marriage to Noor, while Youssef struggles to accept her rejection. Aisha catches sight of her husband trying to approach Noor and confronts her, accusing her of ruining her marriage.
To make matters worse, Hamad overhears Aisha’s angry accusations, calling Noor a homewrecker. As Noor battles with guilt over how she treated Hamad, her best friend steps in and reveals the truth about their marriage: while Noor used Hamad, he also used her.
Hamad and Noor Overcome Their Differences At the End of Honeymoonish
Hamad returns to the hotel room to find Noor angrily packing her things. This leads to the intense argument we saw in the opening scene of Honeymoonish. In the middle of the heated exchange, Noor’s mother and Hamad’s aunt arrive to celebrate the revelation that they are not siblings.

But upon learning of another secret Hamad has kept from her, Noor demands a divorce, and he agrees. Now separated, the couple returns to their lives in Kuwait. Noor spends her time at the gym, and she decides to take swimming lessons.
Hamad’s father resumes his work on the project with the German company and continues pressuring his son to marry, but this time, he wants to pick the bride—Hamad is expected to wed his cousin. Youssef, desperate to win Noor back, promises to divorce his wife, but Noor refuses to even entertain the idea of speaking with him.
After Aisha spreads damaging rumors about Noor, ruining her reputation, Noor decides to leave the city and start a new life as a fitness trainer in Beirut. As Hamad focuses on wedding preparations, he discovers that his bride is in love with someone else.
Rather than going through with the wedding, he decides to search for Noor. Hamad makes a heartfelt plea to Noor, asking her to marry him again. Though hesitant at first, Noor agrees to take him back, but only on the condition that he starts putting the toilet seat down. The couple’s friends join in to celebrate the joyful news.
Honeymoonish ends with Hamad and Noor enjoying a true honeymoon on the beach, their relationship finally genuine and free from deception.
