What initially seems like a straightforward story of vengeance transforms into a profound commentary on the cost of seeking justice. To fully understand the ending, one must recognize how the characters’ internal battles intertwine with their external actions, leading to an unexpected resolution.

Patna Shuklla ending: Was Savita lying?

Raghubir Singh, with the help of his lawyer Neelkanth Mishra, left no stone unturned in their efforts to eliminate Tanvi’s will and win the case. They even orchestrated the firing of Tanvi’s husband, Siddharth, and sent a bulldozer to destroy part of her building that was deemed illegal.

When these threats failed, Neelkanth resorted to systematically dismantling Tanvi Shukla’s case. He uncovered Rinki’s bribes to authorities in an attempt to manipulate her attendance records, thus questioning her credibility and the foundation of her case.

Tanvi’s attempt to present Savita Yadav, who had earlier alleged that Mr. Srivastav had swapped Rinki’s roll number with Raghubir’s, backfired. Neelkanth exposed Savita as a liar, showing she had been absent on the day of the alleged roll number exchange and had falsely accused Mr. Srivastav of molestation.

Since Savita had not received justice for the incident, it seemed likely that her desire to use Rinki’s case for personal vendetta was genuine. Judge Jha sided with this argument, weakening Tanvi’s position. Eventually, it was revealed that Savita was colluding with Neelkanth and had deliberately misled Tanvi.

What did Tanvi’s father reveal?

At this point, Tanvi was completely drained financially. She and her husband had no more resources left. When their son, Sonu, fell seriously ill and needed hospitalization, Tanvi’s father stepped in and provided the money for his treatment.

Witnessing their financial struggle, Tanvi’s father advised her to drop the case, which only heightened the tension between them. Her father then made a shocking admission: he had never intended for her to become a lawyer. In order to help her achieve her dream, he swapped her roll number with that of Zaibuddin Ansari.

As a result, Tanvi passed her exams while Ansari failed. Tanvi was devastated upon learning that her accomplishments were based on a lie. Despite this revelation, she used it to argue that roll number swapping had been a common practice for years.

Does Tanvi win the case?

At the climax of Patna Shukla, Ansari appeared in court and revealed the truth. Tanvi, in turn, took the witness stand and confessed to unknowingly benefiting from the scam. She admitted to depriving Ansari of his chance to become a lawyer.

When Neelkanth urged Judge Jha to dismiss the case because of Tanvi’s fraudulent degree, Jha acknowledged that such malpractice was a prevalent issue in the education system.

Rather than dismissing the case, Jha decided to initiate a reevaluation of Raghubir and Rinki’s exam papers by an impartial panel of teachers.
