When the entity attacks her, she loses consciousness, and Clyde retrieves her, but misunderstanding leads Stephanie to gain custody of the children through a court order.

At a Jewish synagogue, Clyde reveals his daughter’s interaction with the box, leading the elders to suggest surrendering to divine intervention. Tzadok Shapir, a knowledgeable man, joins Clyde on this journey.
The Climactic Exorcism
One night, Stephanie discovers Emily devouring food. As the demon fights back, Stephanie hugs her daughter, causing the entity to leave Emily’s body, which revives Stephanie. Afterward, they take Emily to a mental hospital, where she kills Brett.
Meanwhile, Clyde arrives with Tzadok, and doctors prepare Emily for an MRI, which reveals the presence of a demon. Stephanie witnesses this horrifying discovery.
With no time to lose, they attempt an exorcism in a secluded area, but Emily escapes. Clyde offers to take her place, allowing the demon to enter him. When Stephanie and Hannah arrive, Tzadok continues the exorcism until the demon is finally contained within the box.
In the end, the family reunites and finds happiness, but tragedy strikes as Tzadok dies in a car accident, leaving the box untouched.
